Cleaning Method:

O2PURE Air Duct Cleaning uses only source removal techniques for cleaning your heating and air-conditioning, systems. Source removal is the term used for the process of removing contaminants from your site. The following procedures are used to clean your system:

  1. Before we begin cleaning, plastic film is placed on supply and return openings. Film is removed prior to the start up of the system.
  2. Supply and return networks are zoned to be cleaned individually.
  3. A high-efficiency, three stage HEPA collector with final stage filtration at .03 microns (1/300th the diameter of a human hair) will be placed at points throughout the HVAC system to evacuate debris at 3000 (cfm) cubic feet per minute under negative pressure.
  4. The areas cleaned will be air washed, swept with forward or reversed air at 200 pounds of pressure per square inch, and power brushed to remove all visible dust and debris.
  5. All registers, grilles, and diffusers will be air washed with high powered, compressed air with our HEPA-AIR method.
  6. Any service openings made to allow access for cleaning will be sealed with reusable, airtight, sheet metal access panels with gaskets screwed to ducts. All 2 1/2" openings or smaller will be sealed with airtight knockout plugs.
  7. The furnace fan will be air washed completely.
  8. The air-handling side of the furnace will be vacuumed and air washed.
  9. The filter will be removed and the chamber vacuumed and air washed.
